It’s Nature Story Time with our friends from the RI Audubon Society. Along with the story, we will learn about the red tail hawk and visit with their splendid avian ambassador, Lady Hawk.

Each year we invite the stellar students from the Rhode Island School of Design’s Picture and Word class to share their picture book creations with us. This is a rare chance to see how stories and pictures come together before they arrive on our bookshelves. We might be seeing a future Caldecott winner or two!

Wet Felting Workshop
Learn how to turn soft colorful lamb’s wool into a unique piece of textile art. Children will enjoy this tactile process using warm soapy water and roving wool to produce a surprising and lovely piece.
