Children’s Librarian

The Providence Athenæum seeks an experienced, skilled and enthusiastic candidate to serve as its full-time Children’s Librarian. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a knowledge of children’s and YA literature, experience working with children of all ages, a dedication to providing enriching programs, a passion for excellent customer service, and a commitment to collaborative work.

The Providence Athenæum is an independent, member-supported library which welcomes members and visitors. The position of the Children’s Librarian requires weekend shifts. Please click here for a full position description.
