Providence Children’s Film Festival Jury Night
Save the date for the Providence Children’s Film Festival Jury Night at the Athenæum! Join us for an entertaining potpourri of the recent independent film submissions to the PCFF Film Festival. Here is your chance to share your thoughts on clips of both live action and animated films. Your input helps the PCFF staff decide which films will be the very best for the 2024 festival season!

A Madeline Fête!
Join us to celebrate the charming Madeline who has come all the way from Halsey Street to live at the Athenæum! Hear the story of her days in Providence as well as special guest readings of her classic story in French and English, followed by a simple craft and French inspired treats. Ages 4+.

Little Pumpkins Halloween Party
It’s time for the littlest pumpkins to hop off the pumpkin vine, zip into their costumes, and roll over here to the library where we will be celebrating Halloween with the return of our annual never-too-spooky Little Pumpkins Party! It’s a jolly gathering, featuring an interactive musical experience with our dear friend Lindsay Meehan of Mary Ann Hall’s Music for Children classes. Costumes are strongly encouraged! Treats to follow.
