Paul La Farge is the award-winning author of several novels including The Artist of the Missing; Haussmann, or the Distinction; Luminous Airplanes; and The Night Ocean. His essays and reviews have been published in outlets such as The Village Voice, Harper’s, and The New Yorker. He has been awarded fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Bard Fiction Prize, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and is a former fellow at the Dorothy and Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library.
