Senator Sheldon Whitehouse represents Rhode Island in the United States Senate. He has served as Rhode Island’s United States Attorney and as the state Attorney General, as well as its top business regulator. He is the author of two books and has written opinion pieces for the New York Times, the Columbia Journalism Review, and U.S. News & World Report, among other outlets.
