Stephanie Ovoian is the Reference & Special Collections Librarian at the Providence Athenæum. She received her MLIS from the University of Rhode Island and has completed coursework through the University of Virginia’s Rare Book School. She lives in Providence with her husband and their two cats.

Kate Wodehouse is the Director of Collections and Library Services at the Providence Athenæum. Kate has worked extensively with the collections and scholars over the past twenty-three years, and has curated many exhibitions that highlight the Athenaeum’s rich and varied special collections. Her favorite exhibitions include those that have incorporated objects from other collections such as Inspired by Nature with the RSID Nature Lab, The Dandy I’m Sure with the RISD Museum and RIHS, and collaborations with visual artists such as The Wondershow with Carolyn Gennari and The Paper Dolls Project with four local artists and AS220. Kate lives in Providence with her husband, son, and dog. On weekends they enjoy family outings exploring the coastal inlets of Narragansett Bay and hiking through woodland trails.
