Did you know approximately 150 million Valentine’s Day cards are exchanged annually, making Valentine’s Day the second most popular card-sending holiday after Christmas? Join us for an intergenerational craft program: Victorian Valentine Crafting. Delve into the history of the American valentine and its connection to New England, and enjoy a viewing of the library’s collection of 19th-century Victorian Valentines! Participants will be given materials and inspiration to make their own special Valentine’s cards.
