Join the RISD Museum‘s Costume & Textiles Department and the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology for a private tour of the Repair and Design Futures exhibition. Repair and Design Futures investigates the language of textiles and the aesthetics of mending and repair globally and throughout the centuries. The exhibit features items that ‘tell stories on a human scale,’ ranging from techniques on repairing textiles to how the act of repair can mend communities. We’ll meet inside the Benefit Street entrance before touring the exhibition.
