Moderator Ian Donnis is the political reporter for The Public’s Radio, Rhode Island’s NPR member station. He has reported on Rhode Island politics for more than 25 years. Ian previously worked for The Associated Press, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, and The Providence Phoenix.Michael Chippendale of Foster is the Republican leader in the Rhode Island House of Representatives. He was first elected to the House in 2010 and served in the second-ranking position in the GOP caucus before becoming leader in 2022. He is a self-employed manufacturing and design consultant.
David Morales, a Democrat, was first elected in 2020 as the state representative serving the Mount Pleasant, Valley and Elmhurst sections of Providence. At age 20 in 2019, David became the youngest graduate of Brown University’s public affairs master’s program. He works as director of programs at the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council.
Wendy Schiller is a professor of political science at Brown University. She obtained her Ph.D. at the University of Rochester and has written and co-written a number of books on politics. She is a frequent contributor on politics to local, national and international media outlets.
