Join us for a conversation about jazz history in RI with practitioners, observers, and fans of the scene.

In 2005, the RI Historical Society’s journal Rhode Island History published a thoroughly researched and written article by Jason McGill on the history of the Celebrity Club, the first interracial club in Rhode Island, which attracted black and white musicians and audiences to Providence from 1949 to 1960.
